Pls. help, first I think my pistons are bad, but then told they wern't! I get into the bed and pull it down, and it slowly creeps about 1/2 way back up. It does stay up fine on it's own. Any suggestions.

This is a older home unit.

Thanks to everyone for their help.

Depending on what type of a tanning bed it is, most units have a way to adjust the gas shocks. If there is a way to move the bottom attachment point, all you should need to do is to move it towards the front of the unit. If there is a tension nut on the fat part of the gas shocks, you can usually loosen it which should decrease the outwards pressure of the shock.
