Problems with installing a manual timmer

I currently have a passport 16 bed at home it uses a 30 minute timmer. The timmer quit when we moved here. I replaced it twice but the timmer does not seem work the bed comes on but will not time out. Any help you may offer will be appreciated.

Bed is a suntanna made in 1997

Can you hear the little gears turning in the timer? Maybe a stripped gear inside. Try setting the timer with the bed unplugged, so you can hear the timer run.
