I added the TanAmerica 42 VHO lamp bed. I charge a $6 upgrade fee from any package or $12 for a single visit. It is an awesome bed, very large, gives great color, and very attractive. Once a client tries it, they are hooked:) It is a 15 minute bed.

Both the Silver Bullet and Starflight are great beds. Tanned in both and got great results, but I would consider the Starflight more of a mid-level bed. You can certainly utilize it to upgrade your customers from a base bed. And when you do the break even analysis on both you'll find both beds to be extremely profitable, but as you may already know both units are a bit pricey. My opinion though, the cost is worth it and I'll be getting both these beds for my salon.

The UWE line is great, Silver Bullet is definitly an Upgrade bed. It will produce great results & your clients will love it. Maintenance isn't the easiest but they have good techs at PC to help. The Starflight is more of a Mid-range unit.

You should also consider looking at Sontegra, FutureSun, Ergoline, & Sonnenbraune they all have very nice beds, some better than others.

Yeah, you could put a Tan America 42 VHO in your salon & do well with it. But put it next to a Silverbullet & forget about it!

I have Tanses beds since 5 years and I'm very happy with them. They are not made of plastic, they are made out of metal, they look great, and there weren't expensive. And more one thing, they give a beautiful color.

The Starflight is one of the most popular beds at my salon. Great color with great AC. It is a mid-range bed but is a great step up from medium pressure beds. A favorite among clients!
