IVE USED THE SOLARSTART AND THE COSMEDICO WHICH IS ACTUALLY A "TUBESAVER" RELABELED WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE PHILIPS I HAVE NOT TRIED THEM YET IF THEY ALL COST THE SAME WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BUY ??

I haven't seen a Philips electronic starter.

They are all pretty much similar, but each will tell you thiers are better!

Who was the original?

Tubesaver will tell you it was them!
SolarStart will say it was them!

They will both say the othr copied.

Where is the proof?

Yes, the Cosmostart is made by Tubesaver,However the Cosmedico Cosmostart/E is slightly different than the standard Tubesaver. Open them up & compare internal componets. You will see that the Cosmostart/E are made to handle the Heat better.
