Does anyone have information on Sunfit tanning beds? I recieved this bed recently and thanks to my extremly CLEAN mother all the decals have been scrubbed off.(least I won't have to worry about the bed being sanitized with mom around to protect the world from germs.)Back to the bed. Underneath it has a plate that reads SUNFIT Nederland,B.V. The Netherlands. It has 24 71" Bi-pin bulbs marked Light Source. Can these be safely replaced with any F71 BI-Pin bulbs on the market? It will be for my own home use.

I work for UltraSun... and we sell Sunfit Lamps, and various Sunfit products, never heard of a sunfit bed myself? Could it be a UltraSun Bed.. is there a silver label (tag) on the back of the bed? If so, can you read me the model info off of it?

Thanks,
Brad

Thanks Brad. There is a metal tag on the bottom of the bed and has this info:
SUNFIT INC
271 North Ave
New Rochelle, NY 10801

Manufacturer: SUNFIT Nederland, B.V.
J.C. van Markenstraat 22
9403 AS Assen
The Netherlands
Mauufactured 19/3/87
Model - PL PK GC
Voltage - 220V 60hz
Current - 1400
UV-A Source - Phillips ogn
The bed starts, stops and runs fine although the bulbs need replacing. I am a little weary being I do not have any paperwork to guide me to any compatible bulb for this unit. What are your thoughts on replacing them?

Being that the unit is for home use, you can pretty much use any lamp you want.
Your Sunfit bed originally came equipped with Philips 09N, Which is a very weak, very long tanning session.(and that lamp is no longer made)

You will want to stay close to that so try the Philips Performance or Cosmolux UVA.

For added kick & a faster tanning session try the Cosmedico Cosmostar or LSI Select.

You will have no problem with any F71 bi pin lamp, just don't go to strong in that 30 min bed.

John, Thanks for the information. I feel much better about spending the extra money for faster bulbs now I am sure they can be used in this bed.
