Rep Power: 7 bsmart will become famous soon enough
Geeze, I thought this was an open discussion for tanning professionals. I've been collecting data on 2 sets of lamps in my salon for several months now, and have a nice graph showing the lamp life decline. I think it could be informative and helpful to other salon owners when it comes time to make their lamp replacement selections. Having a technical background, I tend to rely on data, vs. opinion.

bsmart.. Im very interested in your data. Customers opinions can easily be swayed one way or the other based on enthusiasm of the sales team (this is why Cal Tan does better in my salon than Swedish Beauty for example).

I have black sun lamps and would purchase more in the future, Lighten up Sam.

bsmart has worked hard through out this entire thread and is the only one who has shown continued interest in it...

Solid... I vote lets post bsmarts graph.

Bsmart, you can upload any graphics you have to your gallery and then post them in a topic or reply on the site.

If you need help, PM me.

I didn't say not to post whatever you have. I only said it's not the comparison that this thread was all about to begin with. I don't even know if you have a set of my lamps and if you do, which ones you have, what you have them in, when you installed them, etc.... and I would assume your study is as level as the one Mitzi did. I am not really questioning that. I just don't know anything about what you did to get these readings you have.

I personally tanned with the Phillips lamps and of course with my lamps. So I know which ones gave me the best tan. I have spoke to a number of salon owners that have experimented with the Phillips lamps. So post away Bsmart. It's fine to say whatever you like.
