Just installed my black sun infinity 5.5 lamps. I believe I will be happy with them they appear to meter a tad higher than my vip gold ho-se tan america lamps.
Sam and George were very professional to deal with, the cost was very resonable, and the shipping according to others pricing was very cheap..... Thanks Mitzi for being so helpful with the metering...

Mitzi,

Well, that would make more sense.. you changed the 3rd number on Infinity from 10.6 to 11.6.

But I don't understand how. From page 7 it says:

"After the switch without acrylics
Med/Hr.
Top 10.9, 11.1, 9.8 = Avg. 10.6"

The average of those 3 numbers really is 10.6 (the 9.8 is dragging it down from over 11). So I don't understand how your log could show 11.6 average.

What do the 3 readings represent? Three different times during a "session" time?

The 3 readings are from head to toe readings. Sorry Steve, let me look at them again in the morning. But that is what my paper log said. I could have gotten distracted while getting the averages and did something wrong. I will double check it.

To make it easier, just take your readings in the center from now on, and average those. Forget the head and toe. And don't bother with the bottom readings.

Don - if you disagree, pipe up.

quite an interesting test, can we compare them with the Bellarium S that the timer was calibrated with to see how much improvement these lamps have given her.

Phillips,

Who has some Belarium S from about 10 years ago to use for that test?

Steve I really don't know what happen on the readings on page 7. Are you talking about the Adv. or Inf. ? I thought we were talking Inf. but looking at my log I am totally confussed now.

Anyway I came in this morning and did a quick bottom reading on both sets of lamps with and without the acrylics. Luckily I had some help so I could do this real fast and slap the acrylic back on without much time passing by. I read 5 lamps right in the center of the bed, bottom only and took the averages.
Here is what I have this am.

Advantate w/out acrylic:
Avg. 9.7
FDA 13.06
Med/min .22
Te 18.18
TTB 4.55
With Acrylic same order as above.
8.6
11.58
.19
21.05
5.26

Infinity w/out acrylic Same order as above
10.8
14.54
.24
16.67
4.17

With Acrylic
9.6
12.92
.22
18.18
4.55

This was much easier to keep within the time frame of reading the lamps. I hope this clears up some confusion.

If there is something more let me know.
