Rep Power: 8 Chippp will become famous soon enough
We have found that our booths are tanning too well.
That the new lamps are so effective at producing deep dark lasting tans, that clients don't need to tan near as often as they did years ago.

That with only a few sessions the clients tan dark golden brown, and the tan lasts and lasts and lasts. That as few as 1 session a week or even less often, will keep a dark tan.

Are clients getting too much for their money?
Its looks that way.

Time to raise prices?

We are using 5% uvb voltarc, and HiTans,
and wolff lamps.
They all tan like crazy, and the tan lasts and lasts.

Its has a lot to do with the booths design (totally even tanning} and the fact that they all use the 160 watt lamps. The lower wattage 100 watt lamps used in beds never tan well or evenly.

The salon is cool in the summer so we don't experance lamp output loss due to over heating.

Dark Brown lasting tans!

Chippp

We are booth shopping right now. I want something different than the comp. Do you notice much of a differance between the 3 lamps you listed? Do your clients ask for 1 booth over another since they have different lamps? Not that they would notice the different lamps but that they would notice the difference in tan.

Thanks
Angie

No they don't notice a differeance, I can't as well, they all tan like crazy.
Because all our booths tan so well people go into what ever is open next. There is no reason to choose one over the other.

The 160 watt lamps tan faster with a higher total uva content, so burning is a non issue, unlike tanning bed 100 watt lamps try to speed up session lenght by a total higher uvb content that just makes the lamps in bed burn better then they tan.

The 160 watt non reflector lamps tan like crazy and are cost effecient!

Chippp, are you saying your booths tan like crazy? Ha ha ha just teasing you. I know all about booths, since I have 4. I would recommend the Sun Capsules like I have, LOVE THEM! We keep all booths with the same bulbs as I think that customers would have preference.

When clients have tried all the booths and see they all tan like crazy, they start asking for the booths with the largest dressing rooms.

I am serious!

They have no complants of any type, tanning booths give perfect tans. So the dressing room size is the only thing they may ask for.

Want the perfect tan ask for a booth!

I agree we just got another suncapsule at our salon and it gives great results. I find when I tan in a stand up I get a more brown tan I love it.
