No,you local electrical suppliers would not be able to supply them.They would have no reason to sell them as most general lighting fixturers are rapid start or have electronic ballasts.As for price they are more expensive then the regular starters,list price is 4.95 but I think they will be less expensive at the show.

we put in new starters every time we change our lamps they only cost .75 each i always have 200 to 300 on hand

totally tan where do you purchase your starters at? Have you done this the whole time you have been in business, and do you think it is a major + to do it every oh 500 hours or so with a lamp change. Or every 1500 hours. Please let up know. THANKS

I am new here. I just found about this site in Nashville. One of my employees was told in the maintenance class at EXPO that they should be changed with every lamp change. We will be doing that from now on because I do HATE to pull bed apart because of a 'blinker' or dead bulb.

LEARNED from experience not to buy "off brand" starters---I only use phillips now.
