Dr kern Viva overheating?
I am having alot of trouble trying to figure out this tanning bed. it works good during the day until its being used back to back. after about the 4th session, the bed shuts down early, the client gets out and starts dressing, and then turns on a again to finish the session. it just keeps doing it over and over again. ive checked the ventilation.. it seems to be good and ive checked the fans under the lounge. and every thing seems to be ok. although.. ill be honest, i dont really know what im looking for or what the fans and ac are supposed to look like while they are running. Do you think i need more air circulating in the room? its a big room for the bed... but thats the only thing i can come up with. or any ideas what else it could be?
any help would be great. thank you |

Re: Dr kern Viva overheating?
Sounds like a hot room. Maybe lovered door and venting. Are your ac vents down center of hall like a normal retail store or are they directed over the rooms? There is a thermol couple in the rear vent. You can contact me on Kern beds and I will do whatever it takes to resolve your problems.

Re: Dr kern Viva overheating?
The bed is vented up to the hung ceiling. And the air conditioning is set up down the center of the hall. do you think i should add a few more tons of ac.. and put them over each room? i really dont think i do have enough ac. im hoping to get more in here reguardless with in the next few weeks.

Re: Dr kern Viva overheating?
The viva never use to have any type of thermo in the back exhaust or paddle switch ???? I was one of the first to install these in the states and don't remember any thermo at all except for the facial area. Must be knew. This unit never use to run real hot to begin with. Check your AC under the bed, clean out your filters on the canopy and the ac etc. Germany may of changed it and added a heat sensor or thermo or something in the back????
