Sungate Help...

Just realized that the fan that runs the 3 fans at the top of the bed isn't working (tanned in there and it's hot as ****) Future was closed and Brian gave me a few ideas on what to check, but can I still operate the bed until tomorrow or parts get in? Does that fan also cool the facials or is it just for the clients comfort?

Just don't want to **** anything up

Matt just PM'ed me that it would be alright to run as the facials have their own fans, it's for clients comfort only. (That MOFO is hot without it though...)

I bet! I would space out sessions obviously. Some people like them HOT beds though.

I was gonna get with him next. Are those fans just plug and play types? or are they hardwired?

I dunno. I wouldn't do anything till it's fixed though. You may eat through 400hrs on those lamps in one session if they aren't cooled.

The fan in the top back side of the canopy is the facial fan only. (does not cool the facial lamps) Pull the front cover off and make sure the connector that runs it did not come loose. (I forget which number it is, just follow the wire harness coming down in the back)

Give Jordan in service a call if it's none of those.

No problem.

Oh, and make sure you DON'T run the gate with the front cover off for more then 10 seconds when you are testing things. If you do, the facials will warp the top acrylic real quick! The main cooling fan on the gate creates a huge vacuum to cool the entire bed, and with the front panel off it can't do that.
