Re: Sungate Help...

They do go once in a while. The back cover (black) can be removed via the large silver screws. That grill can be drilled out and then put back with scews. Yours looks nice and clean. Sometimes the grill gets clog and causes the fan to over work and then fail.

Re: Sungate Help...

The fan is replaced by removing the lamps and reflectors. DO not drill anything out.

Re: Sungate Help...

It is easier from behind! Remove the back cover and it is right there. Only if the grill is messed up or in some models it had to be drilled.

Re: Sungate Help...

Talked to Jordan this morning and gave the wires to check at the fan X9 and x12. Have bigger things to tackle now, Suntouch isn't working and they haven't called me back yet.....

Not my week. Gotta stay positive though.

Nothing wrong with your week, just a typical day in the life of a salon owner!

Re: Sungate Help...

Well you can factor in that you will be giving the bed a good douching at the same time of fixing the fan.

Had to be done at some point. (just to justify)

Re: Sungate Help...

Finally was able to get to the Sungate fan issue this afternoon. Unplugged what Jordan said to test (my test thingy didn't work) Plugged them back and ran it and it worked... Must have been loose.

Got my Suntouch fixed due to Kerry at IDI. She was awesome. Did it all remotely. Eileen helped me out today also.

I just want to say thanks to everyone that helped me out. I really appreciate it! YOU TOO BRIAN and MATT!
