timer for tanning bed at home

Hi, i bought a tanning bed 1 month ago and the girl that sold it to me told be that i need a timer to make it works. nothing special just a basic kitchen timer to connect it to the bed
so i went to walmart to buy a timer, but when i open the timer and look inside, there was nothing to connect wires on..
so my question is what king of timer do i have to buy to make it works, the wires are kind of speakers wires..

If the 2 wires are only contactor coil voltage, that first 30 min timer should work.

i connected the wires to the intermatic timer..but it doesnt work , i push the round button and the light dont goes on.. and the arms dont move when i press those other 2 buttons..
what should i do?

sounds to me like you need a tech to go over the unit, where are you located? or go to tanningbedrepair.com

touch these wires together and see if the bed comes on when you plug it in?

they should be coil voltage for the relay
that old unit has no digital timer circuitry

where are you located
and is that an old ultrasun?

call one of the tanning supply stores like heartland there should be a tec you can talk to
and they have all the parts
