UWE help

I recently purchased a "used," but never used UWE black energy XL. If I push the contact down the lamps will light up, however I can not get the bed to start via the tmax. If I disconnect the tmax and touch the black and red wires on the coding pin together the fans start but still no lamps.

I also have tried both settings on the two switches (coin and private use).

I mainly have Tan America equipment, so not too familiar with UWE. Do I need to have have the panels on, i.e. some sort of safety switch on panels covering the guts of the bed?

Any ideas?

Thanks, Chris

Re: UWE help

Good afternoon Chris,
The Black Energy Xl has a safety switch beneath the facial cassette filter glass cover and a Thermal switch located above the facial cassette underneath the canopy cover. If either of these switches are open the unit will not operate. Check all the circuit breakers located in the unit base and also the flag switch that is connected to the main blower. If you need further assistance please contact the PC marketing customer support department at 1(800) 327-8826. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for choosing UWE.
