Cool SunCapsule VHO Timer Issue

Hello.. just purchased a used SunCapsule VHO, 1998 model I believe. It did not come with a timer and I can't seem to find any sort of schematics on suncapsule's web site. What I've found is I can connect the red + black timer wires and I can turn the bed on by the momentary rocker switch inside the booth, but as soon as you release the switch, it goes off. I can connect the red + green wires and the lamps will burn as long as the wires are connected and the emergency switch is on, so right now I have those wires running to a TMax and we're in business, but I'd like to use the starter switch inside if possible to turn the bed on and then have it cut off automatically when finished. So.. is this possible while using a TMax or would I need some special timer? Is it "safe" the way I have it hooked up? Thanks.

Re: SunCapsule VHO Timer Issue

The junction box on top of will have a 5 pin plug on it for the timer. Pins 3 and 5 are the contact. Black and green wires. Connect these to a T- max timer.

Colors are in the junction box.
To connect T-max. Red and black to power
Black and green to contact. The black is common for both.
Brown and white to remote contact on t max. THis will allow the internal button to activate the t max.
On the back of the timer, right side, there is a jumper, J-100, move the jumper so the inside switch will control the start/stop button of the timer. If you leave the jumper in the stock location, the internal button will control the up button on the timer.
