Facial lamp not working in Sunvision Elite

I've had my Sunvision Elite 30-3F for 2 years and have had no problems until now. Of course right as the warranty expired. The problem is that one of the facial tanners will not illuminate, even after changing the lamp. I called ETS and they told me that I needed to replace the lamp holders as sometimes the porcelain cracks. I did this...still no luck in illuminating that particular facial lamp. And yes, I did test the bulbs to make sure they are good. Anyone else have a similar problem with this unit?

Re: Facial lamp not working in Sunvision Elite

Try swapping the ballast and the ignitor with ones that work to see if that is the problem. Check all of your connections.

Re: Facial lamp not working in Sunvision Elite

When facials won't light up, and you know the lamp is good, 9 times out of ten it's the ignitor. Occasionally you will have wire contacts that burn up anywhere between the ballast and the lamp holder.

Re: Facial lamp not working in Sunvision Elite

When we went to change out the facial lamp holders, we found that the porcelain was cracked and/or melted on one of the holders...we assumed that this was the problem. Would any of you happen to have links to pictures of specific parts such as ballasts and ignitors?
