Hello: everyone, I am new to this, so I am not to sure how to post and stuff like that.... but I just got a tanning bed, it is a 1993 Sunal... I KNOW OLD! but the lady we got this from said that it was in great working conditon, but we can not get the bed to come on, she gave us a tmax timer with the bed, and that works, but we can not get it to kick the bed on, does anyone out there have a maunal for this bed???? if so please send it to: happytotsdaycare@kc.rr.com or you can call me at: 816-322-4859.........I really want to get th is fixed.... At the bottom, right rear of the bed there is a five pin black plug. Remove the plug and either wire the contact of the T-max to the two outer pins, 1 & 5 or place a jumper in there.

If you just use the jumper then you will not need the T-Max as you can use the twist timer or you could connect the T-max as I have said above and bypass the internal twist timer in the front right of the bed. Just remove the two wires from the back of the timer and wirenut them together. This is accessable under the acrylic.

If you decide to use the twist timer on the bed. Be careful until you are absolutely sure it's working correctly. Those are spring wound timers and do fail (stick) when they get old.

I don't have this set up on the tanning bed that I have. I have a pic if I could send this pic to someone, and if they could look at the set up I have and help me from there that would be great. I just can not get the bed to turn on the tmax timer works though.

OH! my gosh I can't beleive that, sorry about that, my husband was making me laugh, so I just gave up on that message.
Matt (my wonderful husband) told me to take all the bulbs outof the top part of the bed today, so he could check something you told him to check, because we got the bottom part working and all the fans going, just no lights on the top part of the bed. I will give you a call later today or it might be tomorrow, we have some friends in town, so I am not sure what day they are leaving. Thanks again so much for your help. :)
