Does the canopy stop a couple of inches above the bench and then creep shut or does it just smack full speed into the bench??

Smack full speed into the bench and keeps going. All limit switches are functional, just not operating the contactor circuit as they should.

Hate to say this, but it sounds like you are going to have to make your own wiring diagram.

Start with what is there. Then analyze the diagram to see if it should work. If it should, then you've missed something assuming all the parts you replaced are good. If the circuit that you come up with in your diagram dosn't make sense, then design your own circuit.

Are there any ciruit boards in the lift circuit?

LOL, I didn't think so. A couple vacuum tubes maybe.
But yup, time to reverse-engineer Tewlman. You may be surprised how quickly you find the problem.

Thanks for all the help guys. I will run it pass my customer to see if he wants to pay for my schooling. It is one of those situations where this shop is 2.5 hours from me in BFE. If it was local I would probably cut the guy a price break but I gave him a 1/2 price deal the first trip. The other issue I am running into that all the original switches I believe were made just for this bed cause I sure as **** can't cross them over to anything in any of my books. **** even Hartland Tan doesn't have anything for these beds. Anyways thanks for all the help peoples.
