Its been a long time but since I jerked around with one of these tanks but I seem to remember an adjustment for the up down limit switches.

I would attempt a Vulcan Mind Meld technique I learned from TV to pry the details of this method from the cobwebs of your memory, but ... I ... can't .... quite ... reach ... hehe

Could also be a stuck contact in one of the lift contactors.

Ok let's try this again. All of the contactors have been replaces, limit swithches replaced and adjusted. New activation switches also installed. What I need is a wiring diagram because I think the previous owner wired something wrong. I can fix it but I need a wiring Diagram.

Come on, this is childs play. Break out the meter and trace it out. All reversible motors are wired similar. Hint: One contactor will lock out the other so there is not a direct short if the switch is activated in the opposite direction during automatic lifting.

Double check what you installed to ensure you didn't mix anything up or have NC contacts that are supposed to be NO and vice versa.

You know I come to this site looking for help and no one here can Post a reply without be a smug smartass. I have been doing this for 10 years and I have tried all the "BASIC" stiff you "MASTERS" are suggesting, while being more interested in my signature line than actually helping. I can Trace lines back all day but without a wiring diagram, I don't know fir the previous owner, who got in there and replaced contactors himself, actually placed them back in the correct sequence or if he even paired them correctly. So what I am going to do is remove my signature line so the people on here with short attention spans can focus on what the problem is. Now I know why alot of my customers complain about high repair bills, alot of the technicians that come in before me cannot focus long enough to be helpful.
