Tmax to KBL help

Ok...I have read a ton of posts already and am only getting bits and pieces of info but I need the whole shibang of help.....

We just installed a KBL7900 and were sent a Tmax SIP series timer and I am having trouble getting it to communicate with the rest of our system...

-Computer is running Suntouch Plus
-connected to a sun Ergoline Intellitan CCS 4
-connected to the SIP series Tmax timer
-to the KBL7900

I have troubleshot it as much as I can (newbie...never done this before)
I have a Tmax timer instruction guide but when I followed it...the new timer didnt do anything....i.e.-holding start and up buttons simultaneously it never came up as .1 like the manual said it would..it actually didnt do anything.

I have A>D>D and this thing is driving me nutzo!....thanks for any help.

Re: Tmax to KBL help

1. turn off power to tmax sip timer.
2. hold the start button
3.apply power to timer
4. release start button.
5. push on up arrow to get to room number.
6. push/release start button
7. hold up and down buttons timer will show 0

if should now communicate with ccs4
