Exclamation Joint Canadian Tanning Association

There was a meeting in Nashville, hosted by the newly self appointed Board of Directors of the Joint Canadian Tanning Association. There were approximately 50 Canadian represented there, mostly from the western provinces. They will be sending information to I believe all Smart Tan Salons across Canada. I will post their mission statement tommorrow.....still recuperating from the weekend.

Re: Joint Canadian Tanning Association

The OTA was a group of salon owners and distributors who were all volunteers.
With any organization, it only works if the volunteers are committed, have time, and in their case have the money. It folded two years ago.
The JCTA board will have one salary paid position, at the moment that is Steve Gilroy, who like others (including Uvalux and Doug McNabb from Fabutan) have put up their own money to get this off the ground. There format is different, and wont require travel by salon owners to attend meetings, thanks to the internet.
At the show a few people made some very healthy contributions to this organization.
As I said previously, I will post Mission Statement later on today.
