Re: Beds from the U.S
Comes with the territory. Brokerage fees, exchange rates, shipping, and maybe even duty............ Makes it tuffer to tan and make a living up here doesn't it?

Re: Beds from the U.S
Right, but I wanna know how much. I got my lamps from the states...95 of them and I think my brokerage fees were $40. Then I ordered lotion and saw $230 on my m/c from UPS. I can't imagine how much it would be for beds. Usually you just pay the GST and brokerage.

Re: Beds from the U.S
I have ordered beds new and used from the US. There is GST, Brokerage and sometimes Duty. That all depends on where the bed was made.
Who do you buy your lamps and lotoins from in the US. IF they don't do the proper paper work, then Canada Customs will fill in the blanks and charge you for what ever they think they can. And there isn't anything you can do. Sandi, Call me anytime for lotions and lamps and even tanning units. I can get you a deal. Rob |

Re: Beds from the U.S
I bought my lamps from the states because I had a hard time finding Heraeus in Canada and when I did his cost before taxes was more than ordering them from the states including exchange, delivery etc.

Re: Beds from the U.S
I ordered them from URI which is in Ohio and closer to you than to me so it shouldn't be that long. They were held up because I didn't apply for a import number which takes 5 minutes to do.

Re: Beds from the U.S
It must be different buying fron the us in Canada. Because I bought my Tanses from the manufactor in Canada and it wasn't bad at all, no extra costs involved.
