Yep, I know, that's where I got my beds. They're manyfacturers, not distributors of lamps. I'd have to buy pallets.

See, like right now, UPS just called because my Tanology order is ready to clear the border and they want to know if I want them to act as my broker and release it. I don't get it really. Not sure what the broker actually does.

Did you know that Light Sources makes the Hearus LP lamp???
If you want that lamp, I can get it to you. It just won't say Hearus, it will say New Technology.

I can save you quite a bit.

UPS is the most expensive for Brokerage. A broker makes sure that customs gets their GST and PST and any other dues that they may need. As well as making sure that the paper work is complete so there is no delays getting the product to you. That is what their fee's are for.

I figured the GST was about $90 and still haven't got my invoice from UPS to see what the other $200 was for.

I don't really get a say though in what delivery company they use.

I hate trying something new because I'm afraid if they suck I'm stuck with them. And I'm not even gonna make a post asking for a replacement suggestion because people still seem to think that everyone's 5% UVB are all the same. Right now I have the 20/160s.

Re: Beds from the U.S

Thats whay I am trying to let you know that Light Sources makes these lamps. They just print a different logo onto the lamp after they ahve made them. There are only 4 or 5 different lamp manufacturers in the world. They all PL lamps for a lot of companies.

If you stick with a LS lamp, no matter what the logo says on it, they will or should perform the same. You could even get Shake and Bake printed right on the lamp if you wanted. It would be the exact lamp that your using now, just a different logo printed on it.
