Canadian Insurance

Who's got 'tanning' insurance? What does that cover? Who went without it seeing as we have no regulations?

Re: Canadian Insurance

W/O seeing what?

Pentagon claims to have "tanning salon" insurance, but they charge big time. I have mine thru Martin Ins. Brokers in Ontario. Still expensive, but not like Pentagon. There is no special "professional liability" involved. Just some good general business liabilty.

Re: Canadian Insurance

So you just have regular business insurance, nothing specific for tanning?

I know someone mentioned they couldn't do month unlimiteds because they're insurance wouldn't let them.

Re: Canadian Insurance

I just don't get what 'tanning salon' insurance would cover. If they got some sort of skin cancer, they'd have to prove they'd never been exposed to any sun ever other than your salon.

Re: Canadian Insurance

I have GLS underwriters, they insure all the contents, plus liability (some one gets burned, falls, or claims to have gotten cancer). Its expensive. I'm in a no reg state too.

I use GLS also, I thought their prices were good considering I was able to get a bigger policy for less money than some of the others out there.

Wouldn't the falls go under your normal business insurance?
