I bought a tanning place on October 2010.
Sells was going down and that's why I was able to deal the place for cheap. (24 900$ tax included)
The place exists since 1988.

7 beds
2x 30*100watts
1x 42*100watts
1x 42*100watts plus 3 facials
1x 42*160watts
1x 52*160watts
1x 42*160watts stand up

They are not high tech like yours but I'm here to get success and ask question to professionnals like you guys.

When I bought it, I immediatly build a website, because they didn't do it at all. www.bronzageosoleil.com
I added services. We now do offer manucures and gel, shellac etc.. It works really well and I thank God it worked, 'cause slow season hurts a lot if you don't have other services...

I put another 2000$ in the front. I changed the design in my front window and I installed a great awning also.

We have at least 800 visits per month in the slow season and it can goes to 1500 during the high season.
We see a good increased versus the last year, and we're really proud.

Okay now my questions...

I think I'm retard just a little bit and the whole industry in Quebec seems to be as retard as I am. We do all offer MINUTES PACKAGE. And I was really sad when I was calculating everything to see that we don't do a lot when we sell package. So I was looking for a new way to sell tanning. I was reading your stuff guys... selling tanning on a POINTS SYSTEM or by SESSIONS SYSTEM.

I approve, your method is way more profitable.

Why don't I switch for immediatly ?!
I'm afraid to do it in a bad way and have lots of complaints from my loyal customers.

Is anybody here did the switch minutes to points or minutes to session. How did you do it ? How you customers reacted ?
How do you calculate your pricing ?

Another question.... Can I switch to this new method of selling tanning with the bed I actually have.

What's EFT ? Electronical fund transfert... how you guys do it ? I don't understand. The ATM machine is over in the US or the West part of Canada ?

Set up your new monthlys and packages like 6 = 12 and 30 and or ste up pionts, run along side with your minuts until your customers get use to them.

Then in 2 or 3 months just drop the minits.

As far as EFT'S , DO A SEARCH here . Many threads on it, many different opinions
