Who gets to decide?
here's a good one for you...we follow the smart tan process that we determine the legnth of time you go into the beds based on your skin type and the assesment we do when signing the waiver.
Now the question is: do you at your salon allow the client to tell you how long they wish to go for OR do you tell them....
we have a lot of issues with this because people think they know their skin and our beds and because they paid for the sessions they should be the ones to dictate to us and other salons who don't care about the industry allow them to go for as long as the clients likes, for us no so...that's why the timers are NOT in the rooms.
please provide me with your input.

Re: Who gets to decide?
we do exactly as you..we normaly start new clients off between 8-12 in the light bed depending on there skin type and explain to them that even though they went to bobs tanning salon in another town for 20 mins doesnt mean u can do that in our bed...i also tell them that if they feel they didnt get any colour they could come back for a free tan,99.9 percent of the time they say u where right i got a little pink from ur bed..you will always have thoes type off ppl you just have to follow your procedures as its your business not theirs
