HELP!!!!!PLEASE!!!Natural ly fair skinned, auburn reddish hair..

Hi. I am going to europe for a month this summer and I don't want to be pale..I am not the typical redhead with pale skin and green eyes with freckles everywhere...I have more auburn hair that is more brown with a tint of red and dark brown eyes. however I do have fair skin that can tan and get a little darker...I noticed this by looking at pictures of me when I was younger. I want to achieve a good lasting tan for the summer. what tanning lotion do you recommend for the fastest and best tan? pleaseee help. and how often should I go to get a base tan..and how many minutes. etc. I am very new to this.
