High Pressure, tony and Robertk

Ok, tony, please tell, why you think high pressure is'nt good for our industry?

Robert, why you think parabolics better than older traditional HP?

I'm so curious...

Do you think 1000 watts of high intensity UVA is good for our industry?

Parabolic systems are much more efficient then your dark ages Orbit system. Less power, less heat more tan.

From an energy stand point and cost savings yes. Performance, no. I like the gentle feel and depth of color achieved with traditional HP over the higher heat Intensed reddening effect which parabolics push out. I've got both. Fortunately there's a market for both too.

With nice filters definitely yes. Even 2000w is terrific. Most used units in my salon are the mattress 2000w equipped beds. Personally I prefer the 1000w.

I just think it's too bad we're both in the uv business, yet you're putting down HP.

But then again, I think stand up tanning solely is ridiculous.

You and I tony breathe the same air, but live differently and operate business differently, which Is why I chose not to meet you while here in sw Florida. Drive past your salons daily, but we are 2 different birds I guess.

I'd rather make larger monies on one salon, than smaller monies on multiple salons running ridiculously cheap eft's. I feel it's no wonder you need 70 salons.

I do like your build outs and signage.

Just not into stand ups for tanning and cheap eft's.

I love HP and not so much super charged VHR units...

2 birds...

Re: High Pressure, tony and Robertk

I think I get it tony. HP is part of your competition and if you say it's bad, you try gaining your stand up clientele, just as you use the spiel, tanning beds are so unsanitary. I've heard your staff use that one.

You are cornered in your niche market of cheap eft stand up tanning salons. You have to bash tanning beds, and high pressure to gain your clients trust. Correct?

Ps. Your commercials are annoying, brown as a biscuit, 9.99....but must be effective as they haven't changed in years. Whatever works. (Just saying)
