Rep Power: 18 | Re: Too good to be true? I believe, or at least suspect, that you're missing my point. I agree that people are, and will always be, interested in the latest health craze. The Vitamin D "train" is the latest and seems to be credible. One of the basic facts is that the body needs UV light to manufacture Vit D. Unfortunately way too many "news" stories that discuss it go on to warn against UV exposure. This includes the very article that Don started this thread with. Don, I'm hopeful that the "perfect" article will come out. Until it does we're left with smoke and mirrors and that's truly unfortunate. |
