We had the opportunity to attend a lecture this week at which Dr. Marc Sorenson spoke. He has released his book "Solar Power for Optimal Health". I urge all salon owners to go out and buy this book. Here is the dedication from the book

" This book is dedicated to the millions of people whose helath has been comprimised by the lack of sunlight and Vitamin D -- a condition brought on by the misguided policies of the government, medicine and drug firms. It is especially dedicated to African Americans and other dark-skinned people whose excess of cancer, heart disease and hypertension can be explained to a great extent by insufficient sunlight exposure in northen lattitudes. It is my intention to play a part in reversing the sun phobia and sunscreen mania, as well as bringing people out of the shadows and back into the sunlight, that their health might be restored and their quality of life enriched."

His FACTS AND PROOF in this book that the message the general public is receiving misguided and wrong is what we need to tell the rest of the world. I wish I could afford a copy for every dermatologist in North America.
