DIH Deutsche Industrie Holding acquires sunbed manufacturer KBL AG

Existing KBL managing directors to remain with the company in the long term Dernbach/Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 4 April 2018 DIH Deutsche Industrie-Holding GmbH based in Frankfurt/Main is taking over KBL AG, a leading producer of sunbeds. A purchase agreement to this
effect was signed by Bernd and Klaus Lahr, the managing directors of KBL AG, and Matthias Freiherr von Tettau, managing partner of DIH, last week. The two parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. DIH will absorb the site in Dernbach/Westerwald and all of the company’s employees. ‘With DIH Deutsche Industrie-Holding GmbH, we gained a strategic partner that takes the long view

Bernd and Klaus Lahr will continue to support KBL, staying on as the company’s managing directors for the next few months before moving to the Advisory Board in a consulting capacity. Two industry experts with many years of experience, Jens-Uwe Reimers and Hans-Jürgen Kreitz, who were managing directors within the JK Group, have been secured as the
company’s future managers. |
