Now might be a better time to have a soft opening and have the grand opening in January or February. By doing this you will not lose the impact of the grand opening. I have a number of things that work well for new salons but rather than having the folks that don't understand marketing get up in arms because I give you ideas maybe check some old post on the topic. Just remember you make the sale in the salon not in the advertisement. Your advertising should be directed at getting tanners in the door. A lot of leg work, networking and use of social media is also a good idea.
