I learned a lot through forums initially and then took a course. The training was awful and so I basically taught myself. I teach others in the UK and I am sometimes appalled at the lack of knowledge within the industry. There are some good companies doing training but equally some of the really big brands are quite awful which all adds to the bad name
spray tanning sometimes gets. I always tell my students to follow the methodical approach I teach but then as they grow in confidence and knowledge they should develop their own method.
