1. Is it just one tech and you are supplying other lifting help or is tech bringing crew?

2. How far is travel time?

3. What sort of constraints are they working with inside the salon - room sizes, door sizes, hallway sizes --- all can make an extraction easier or harder.

4. Who is providing the pallet? Do they have to make/bring?

5. Assume you want it set back up on the pallet to ship. This means basically reversing the process and rebuilding the entire bed - AND securing to ship safely! Screwing down ballast trays, securing canopy, etc etc etc. Time, materials AND expertise to do that safely.

Keep in mind - it will take several hours to remove the bed and several hours to rebuild. This is a whole day job at least! Add in travel time - they may have to build in an overnight hotel stay along with their mileage, meals and time.

As an FYI - a bed this size will be too big for a liftgate. So plan on having a forklift available to get it on the truck or however you plan for it to leave the salon on the pallet.
1 tech + helper and myself
2 tech is local to the city
3 tech has worked in salon that bed is being removed from, he said no prob. removing.
4 tech is providing pallet
5 he estimated 4-6 hours to break down and rebuild

I will be transporting in 8 by 15ft enclosed trailer metal ramps and electric pallet jack to load..

The tech was referred by salon owner. She said he did the install 7 years ago when salon was opened and has done all maintenance on beds since opening.
