I have a very simple basic question about using Facebook. We want to market our business so is it the easiest and best way to go about it just by having people like our FB page? After they like us will they always get our updates that we post on our FB page?

I saw a concession trailer doing this in Dallas this spring, like our FB page and get 10% off your order. People were doing it as they stood in line and so really just about everyone got the 10% off but the concession trailer sends out FB blasts to everyone when they open up for the day and telling people where they are at. Very smart, I just want to know if this is the easiest way for people to find our FB page.
