Helios Tech Support????

Had a database problem and Helios wouldn't boot up on the server. Called Tech support and repaired databases. Problem solved except client cannot boot up since every data file is in use by another user or I don't have permission. I am using simple file sharing, no firewall, no internet, and running XP Home (for 10 years) Helios v11.7. Tech support told me they couldn't help since they only support XP Pro (give me a break) and didn't know how to set permissions on XP Home and I was s.o.l. and needed to contact a Microsoft tech. What am I paying for?
