Re: Attracting "High End" clientele

It makes no difference if you tan on the value level equipment or the highest level equipment. Tanners are looking for the best tanning experience and spend money based on what they can afford. The fact remains that the different levels are there to accommodate every type of tanner, based on needs that can change from month to month will determine what type of tanning you can sell your tanners.

However it is important that the environment and tanning experience that ever tanner receives is equal except for specific equipment type.

If you are a properly trained sales person you will be able to work tanners from level to level based on ability to pay. The value tanner is no less important than the up-grade tanner and if you are a good sales person you can occasionally get any tanner to sometimes upgrade.

The question should be how do I insure drawing every tanner in my market.

Yes to do that takes all of the things listed above and more. If you expose value tanners to upgrade tanning in the proper way you can get them to up grade. In no way does that diminish the overall experience of the upgrade tanner.

80% of a salons UV tanning sales should come from upgrade sales. The 20% value tanner dollar is equally important and should be considered as much.
