If you are in a competitive demographic a wix or other instant on website has zero shot at ranking anyplace.
Plus wix costs 150/ year. If you look at the code every wix site is an advertising platform for wix. Same true of all those sites they build in all kins of stuff that helps them.
A custom site may cost a few hundred dollars and probably less annually than wix et al.
One thing i advise everyone is buy or transfer your domain to godaddy and any legit designer will tell u how to point the dns. I have had to negotiate domain ownership and its not fun nor cheap for salon owners that got scammed
Doinv it yourself is crazy as all servers get hacked as any site can be hacked by a determined individual. You see in this thread the security issues. |
