That's not true. Any laser, cold laser's specifically, are required to have a Med Dir. What you are seeing in the marketing pieces are actually LED's being marketed as a cold laser. Deceiving.

LLT like the Zerona Laser(Which is a cold laser by the way) does work. You will see them in applications like "fat burning" as with the Zerona, smoking cessation clinics and hair growth stimulation.

You don't need an MD to operate but you do need one to oversee the procedures in your practice. LED's however require no MD supervision in Florida. You can contact the Fl Dept of Health for clarification if need be.
