Sure, I only have a couple posts on here so you might wonder what I know and don't know, but, I just joined this site yesterday while looking for a couple high end beds to add to one of my salons.

Advertising DOES work and its NOT a crap shoot as some have mentioned. It works very well if done often and properly. U gotta brand your image and put out offers that really attract the client to come in and try out your salon. Don't be afraid to give something away for free to lure in lots of new clients. When advertising with an attractive offer, If your salon is nice and you have good service and know how to sell, you will retain a nice percentage of those who come in to try your offer.
Honestly, I see both sides, but to "attack" for lack of a better word, she is entitled to say her opinion, hence....FORUM.... now maybe you should move on. Negativity breeds negativity, this forum is to help other business owners plain and simple. Maybe cut back the advertising and use other mediums so we who see it ALL the time can get a break.
