| Re: Do melanoidins induced by sunless tanning spray inhibit vit D? Real nice. I've always wondered how the DHA would react in the skin with UV exposure.
I remember the Orlando Trade Show, we had the live Ayk Freestyle beds, some girl got ticked at me because I told her not to tan after she just got done doing the Mystic spray tan. I told her it might limit her results as we didn't know if the DHA would block the UV, therefore not knowing what she got the color from. (This was 5 years ago)
So if this is true, where does the industry go from here?
I'm all for the push on Vitamin D, but for all the salons that have sunless it kind of a hard situation.
Sunless tanning is still in it's infancy- only 10 years in.
Great find Eileen.
