I don't know about its medicinal benefits,but i know a handful of people who had never tried it until they were receiving the radiation/chemo treatments.It was hard for them to keep a glass of water down,but after some herbal treatment,they were able to enjoy a meal without worrying about keeping it down.
The downside of it was,none of them quit after the treatments. LOL
