Re: Solution coming off in the bath?

What should be washing off of her is the FD&C cosmetic color which is the instant bronzer that most solutions have. That is just there so spray techs can see where they are applying the solution and to give the client some instant gratification until the chemical reaction process between the D.H.A and the skin take place. And depending on the time that you sprayed her and the time that she showered there may have not been enough time to see any chemical reaction process between the D.H.A and her skin and that may be way she is thinking she is not tan but still could develope a tan. Depending on the percentage of D.H.A in your solution and the skin type your client has it can take 18 to 24 hours for her to see results? Unless she showered very early after the tan then she may not see anything at all. Most D.H.A solutions require that your client not shower or get wet for at least 8 hours after the spray session. Anotherr thing you could ask her and should ask before you spray tan her is did she shower and exfoliate right before she came to her session? Was she wearing any type of mosituizer or petrolum based products on her body because that will keep a water based solution from penetrating into the skin properly and may leave very little or no chemical reaction tanning color to the skin. If she claims that she did this check and test your solution on yourself to make sure its working. And finally you stated this is the second time is has happened to her? Have you asked her to come down and have you take a look at her tan? There is alway the possibility it is working?
