Re: Why can't I use regular lotion?

Katie -

A typical bottle of lotion will last between 15 & 30 tans. So if you pay between $20 - 50 (and you can find some good lotions in this range), it is only a dollar or two per use. Since a tan costs you more than that, and you get 60% more color when you use a good lotion, it is cheaper to use lotion and tan less for the same results than to skip the lotion and have to tan more.

Also - your tanning salon probably sells tan extender lotions that are made for "moisturizing" and keeping your tan longer. These are generally less than $20. If you use something like this as your "everyday" lotion and then use your tanning accelerator when actually in the bed, you will get a much better result, and keep healthy looking, tan skin much longer. It will make the money you are spending on your tans go much further and give you a great result!
