I have a friend that was in the same boat. He has has surgery also. He claims he can never be off the medications, which is mostly sudafed type stuff. Anyway I keep telling him he is just dependent on them. It may have started as a nasal cavity infection, but thats long gone now as proven by his last checkup. But he "needs" the medication to breathe.

Well I hope the best for ya and that this goes over soon. Its hard on the body no matter what.
