Well, that's not really true. There are some other tanning salons owners who have branched out into other retail areas such as weight loss, teeth whitening and cosmetics and have done very well with the add-on service. Our clients are looking for ways to look beautiful, right... they're captive to ANYTHING that will help them look their best.
The detox infrared body wraps and detox weight loss products do well when marketed well; teeth whitening does very well, skin care and body care as well as mineral cosmetics do well. Depends on your marketing.
Energy bars and drinks are probably better off in the fitness salons and gyms. Other items do very well in tanning salons... think COSMETIC APPLICATIONS.
