Re: Opening a Tanning Salon

Its all about numbers. Make sure the area you are at holds all the right numbers for your business period. If you already have a client list from your other business great get them to help you start a buzz going on keep it rolling from there. You sound like you know what you want to do, stay true to yourself and dont jump around your business plan.

Do you have a commercial broker to handle looking into retail space for you? This would be a great place to start, I dont know any from that area but CBRE is a great start. Theres also Kushman and Wakefield, and Kimco to name a few. I have worked with these companies and they can give you great inside numbers to see if your business fits the area your looking for.

Alot of people can help you on here as to what bed selection you need to be a great salon. The main plus to you right now is that you have a business already that you can get people to create a buzz for your brand before it happends. Like I said before if you are serious about doing this business, start there 1st.

This business is based on what good service, prices, tan you can give me. Dont run away from this model and you will do very good. If you dont we will see a salon posting about you trying to sell your beds, and you just got into the business.
