Re: Will a 600V power cord handle a a 35 amp bed?
The bravo has a delayed start. That is normal.
The wire size and max. volt rating and max. temp. rating are all printed on the cable. Example: 600V 6/3 90°C SOOW. Now the 600V means that the wire will handle a max of 600 volts and the 6/3 means that the cable has a total of three number six gauge wires in it and the 90°C means that the wire will tolerate a temperature of 90 degrees celcius without breaking down and the SOOW means that it is resistant to sunlight, oil, suitable for outdoor use, and water resistant.
The minimum cable size should be this for that bed. Main thing is the wire size. 6/3 is what you want. If the first number is higher such as 8/3, 10/3 then the wire is too small and will burn up.
Make sure that the cable reads 600V (300V is OK), 90°C, 6/3 (first number cannot be higher, second number cannot be lower, second number being higher is fine as you will just have extra conductors), and insulation rating of SOOW.
Got it.
