You should be able to get at least 45% off of
wholesale price. The price your distributor quoted you was
wholesale or 50% of retail. Shop around and place that first big order with the distributor that gives you the best percent off
wholesale. If you have to sign an exclusive to get the best deal, don't worry, be happy. There's nothing that guarantees you'll have to be locked in.
