Is there a way to fix the wire. It is attached to the back of the lid and on the bottom part of the bed. The bottom you might be able to take off but I am afraid to pull on it so I'm not sure if it is supposed to come off or not. The loose wire is the one attached to the top of the lid. Is there a way to tightened it up?

There is also something in the back of it that sticks out about 2 inches I can take this off and it has 2 prongs on it. Not sure if this is a fuse or something. It just screws in.
